Gilgal Biblical Seminary had its humble origin in the Middle East as a theological study centre in the year 2000. Over the past decades, it has structured itself into a well-organized biblical seminary with accreditation from Asia Theological Association (ATA). It is also universally accepted and recognized as a COG Grade Level IV (USA) institution.
It was the GBS President – Dr. K O Mathew’s vision to establish a well-organized Seminary in the Arabian Peninsula where focus would be on Biblical and Mission studies. His earnest desire, hard work, effort, and commitment has brought GBS this far.

Classes are held in the evening from 7:30pm to 10:30pm for the benefit of working professionals. GBS mainly focuses and emphasizes on systematic theology studies and believes in equipping the students for the practical ministry. It has also started online classes along with its regular mode of study. This gives students from around the world an opportunity to be a part of GBS. Above all, students who have graduated from GBS are accepted and recognized anywhere in the world. GBS has been and will always be a stepping stone for people to come forth and work for the expansion of God’s Kingdom.
